About Me

Mikayla Quinlan, MSc.SLP, R.SLP

I graduated from the University of Alberta with my Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2019. I am registered with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA). My previous work experience includes working at Seden Centre for Child Development and Wellness within a multidisciplinary team to provide services to children aged 2.5 - 6 with varying speech and language concerns. I also have experience assessing and treating older, school-age children. I have had the privilege of learning from and with certified teachers, educational assistants and occupational therapists. I am passionate about continuing to learn and grow as a speech and language professional.

I am a PROMPT-trained SLP (September 2020). PROMPT is a unique, holistic treatment approach that targets the motor breakdowns that are affecting a child's (or adult's) speech.
